Sir Charles Lloyd, 1st Baronet (1662 – 28 December 1723) was a Welsh politician. He was educated at Jesus College, Oxford. He served as MP for Cardigan boroughs from 1698 to 1701. He was knighted in 1693 and became the first baronet in 1708. He served as High Sheriff of Cardiganshire in 1690 and High Sheriff of Carmarthenshire in 1716. After his death, on 28 December 1723, he was succeeded in the baronetcy by his elder son, Sir Charles Lloyd, 2nd Baronet.[1]
